Adam Peaty's Great-Aunt Uninvited from Wedding Amid Family Feud

Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty has reportedly uninvited his great-aunt and her husband from his wedding to Holly Ramsay just days before the ceremony, despite them having already spent hundreds of pounds on preparations. The couple, who married on Saturday at Bath Abbey, have been at the centre of a family feud that has seen Peaty's mother, Caroline, excluded from the hen do and other events.

According to reports, Peaty's great-aunt Janet and her partner Eddie were told over Christmas that they could no longer attend the wedding. An insider told The Sun: 'Caroline did everything and more to help Adam. She and Mark sacrificed a lot to get him to where he is. Adam ought to be ashamed of himself for going ahead with the wedding without them after everything they did to support him.'

The rift deepened when Peaty's sister, Beth, who served as a bridesmaid, was accused of betraying her mother by attending the wedding. Caroline, 60, spoke out ahead of the ceremony, telling the Mail: 'I don’t think they understand how much they have hurt me; it’s as if they have cut my heart out. This is the first Christmas that I’ve not had my family together – my family is broken.'

The conflict is said to have originated in September 2024, when Peaty and Ramsay excluded wider family members from their engagement party. Caroline was also not invited to Ramsay's hen do at Soho Farmhouse, which was attended by the bride's mother, Tana Ramsay, and friends including Victoria Beckham. Despite this, Caroline sent a card and gift to her son on his 31st birthday, which coincided with his wedding day.

Peaty's aunt Louise reportedly sent a text message to him moments before the wedding, expressing her thoughts on the family feud. The wedding itself saw large crowds gather outside Bath Abbey, with guests including Peaty being escorted into the building by security. A body language expert described the bride as looking 'confident and radiantly happy' and 'fully in control' of her big day.
