Adam Peaty's Family Feud Deepens Over Birthday Snub

Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty has reportedly failed to wish his grandmother a happy birthday, deepening the ongoing family feud. The 84-year-old maternal grandmother, known as 'Olympic Nan', celebrated her birthday with her daughter Caroline, Adam's mother, but received no card, present, or message from the swimmer.

A source described the snub as 'shameful', noting that Peaty had posted a birthday message to his wife Holly's brother Oscar just five days earlier. 'How could he ignore his 84-year-old nan who has only ever loved and supported him? She is quite bewildered by it,' the source told the Mail.

The rift comes after Peaty's sister Bethany, the only family member to attend his wedding, said she was 'caught in the middle' but had made amends with their mother for the sake of her children. Meanwhile, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, father of Peaty's wife Holly, revealed that the swimmer calls him 'dad', saying: 'He messaged me and said "Hey dad, what have you got?"'

Before the wedding, Peaty's mother Caroline gave an interview claiming her son was 'in Gordon's clutches' and that she felt 'pulled away' from him. She said the situation had left her feeling 'broken' and that she had told her son she loved him and would forgive anything.
