During Adam's 2021 stint on Strictly Come Dancing, viewers speculated about a 'near-kiss' with his professional partner Katya Jones at the end of an intense Argentine Tango. Eiri lightheartedly mocked the widespread rumours on TikTok.
Although the 'Strictly curse' was heavily rumoured, Adam's brother later clarified that the show had nothing to do with their separation. The couple officially broke up in August 2022, with Adam issuing a statement apologising for 'letting [her] down'.
Life after the split
Following their breakup, Eiri stepped back from public social media to raise their son, maintaining a strong bond with Adam's family and remaining supportive of his new relationship.
Eiri publicly praised Adam's now-wife, Holly Ramsay, describing her as a 'wonderful stepmother' to George.
