Gordon Ramsay on Keeping Holly Calm Amid Adam Peaty Wedding Family Feud

Gordon Ramsay has revealed how he kept his daughter Holly's nerves in check before her wedding to Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty, amid reports of a family feud. The 26-year-old influencer married Peaty, 31, in a star-studded ceremony at Bath Abbey on December 27, but the celebrations were overshadowed by claims that Peaty's mother Caroline was 'banned' from attending.

Reflecting on the big day, Ramsay shared a carousel of photos on Instagram, including one of them holding hands in a Rolls-Royce Phantom on the way to the church. 'One of the most exciting car journeys ever in a father's life is on the way to the Church with your beautiful daughter, incredible conversations and helping her to stay calm and relaxed ahead of our walk down the aisle,' he wrote.

The TV chef, 59, also commented on a video of Peaty's wedding speech, in which the swimmer said he would 'always choose' his bride. Ramsay wrote: 'Beautiful words @adamramsaypeaty @hollyramsaypeaty True Love, congratulations love you both so much Dad.'

Reports of a feud among the Peaty family first emerged when Caroline did not attend Holly's hen do at Soho Farmhouse. It was later claimed Peaty's parents were uninvited from the wedding, and Peaty's aunt and other family members criticised him on social media. His brother James was arrested in November over allegations of sending threatening messages during Peaty's stag do in Budapest.

According to The Sun, Ramsay made a dig at Peaty's parents during his wedding speech, reportedly saying: 'Shame you don't have the same' after praising his own wife Tana. Peaty reportedly failed to mention his family in his speech, instead calling his swim coach Mel Marshall 'like a mum'.

Speaking to the Daily Mail ahead of the ceremony, Caroline Peaty said: 'I don't think they understand how much they have hurt me; it's as if they have cut my heart out. This is the first Christmas that I've not had my family together – my family is broken.' She added: 'They are both still loved, there is nothing I won't forgive, and I want them to have the best day.'
