Adam Collard broke down in the latest episode of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins after receiving a tearful video message from his fiancée, Laura Woods. The Love Island star, 29, became visibly emotional as he thanked Woods for encouraging him to take part in the gruelling reality show.
During the call, Collard told Woods: 'Hiya baby, you alright? It's hard, yanno, I've aged about 10 years, I have missed you so much.' He added: 'This is exactly what I needed and I am so glad you pushed me to do it.'
The couple, who have been together since October 2023, got engaged last September and welcomed a son named Leo in January. This is not the first time Collard has become emotional on the show; he previously opened up about experiencing a miscarriage with Woods. In a scene, he told the Special Forces staff: 'We lost something when it was really close to getting there a second time.'
Collard continued: 'I think I was proud of the fact that I was excited for it, which I didn't think I ever would be. And when it got taken away, and it was 10 times worse for her, I think it hit us like a ton of bricks.' He admitted pretending to be fine in front of Woods.
Ahead of the episode, Collard shared a clip on Instagram, writing: 'The Final Stretch. This was a savage task. Watch tonight 9pm on Channel 4. These last two days were a whole other level but what an experience and to share it with the rest of the gang. Comradery.'
