Brad Everett Young, known for his roles in Grey's Anatomy and Boy Meets World, has died at the age of 46 following a collision with a vehicle travelling the wrong way on the 134 Freeway in Los Angeles. His publicist confirmed the actor died at the scene, while the other driver was hospitalised.
Young, also a renowned photographer, appeared in hit medical drama Grey's Anatomy, Beverly Hills 90210, Numb3rs, and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, as well as films such as Charlie's Angels, Jurassic Park III, and Men of Honour. He was best known for his celebrity photography, working with publications like Vanity Fair, Vogue, and The Hollywood Reporter, capturing stars such as Sarah Michelle Gellar and Seth Green.
His publicist Paul Christensen told The Hollywood Reporter: 'Brad's passion for both the arts and the people behind them was unmatched.' Tributes have poured in from colleagues and fans. Chris McKenna, who plays Jack on General Hospital, shared photos taken by Young on Instagram, writing: 'These were taken just a couple weeks ago by the late @bradley206 we won't see another like him.'
Parry Shan, also from General Hospital, said: 'Brad Everett Young was one of the kindest and most generous people I have ever met. But the one trait that made him truly stand out in this business, often filled with cynicism, was his indomitable positivity.'
