The Duchess of Sussex and her former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer, who share the same birthday, both turned 44 on Monday. Spencer shared a glimpse of her celebrations on Instagram, posting a photo of herself in a hot pink mini dress holding a sparkler.
In her caption, Spencer expressed gratitude for the birthday wishes, writing: 'Thank you so much everyone for the incredible birthday love. I feel it in my fingers. I feel it in my toes. Oh so very grateful for this new year.' She added: 'We've got magic to do. 44/4.'
Earlier, Spencer had posted a birthday tribute to Markle, calling her 'champagne in human form' and 'a creature unlike any other'. The post prompted a rare comment from the Duchess, who replied: 'Thank you, sweet Abs! Right back at you, and happy birthday to YOU! 44/4'.
Another friend, Kelly McKee Zajfen, also wished Markle a happy birthday on social media, describing her as 'pure magic' and 'a force of fun, light, and so much love'.
