Abbey Clancy has announced the death of her beloved cat Maggie, who passed away at the age of 20. The 39-year-old model shared the news on social media, expressing her heartbreak.
Posting a photo of two of her children cuddling Maggie on Instagram Stories, she wrote: 'Goodnight my beautiful baby. You were one in a million. 20 years with you I'm heartbroken.' In another snap, she added: 'Lost without you baby,' accompanied by a red love heart.
The sad news comes just weeks after Clancy, who shares four children with husband Peter Crouch, welcomed a new pet dog into the family. Speaking on their podcast 'The Therapy Crouch', she revealed she had bought a 'teacup' Maltese called Bambi for her daughter Liberty, despite Crouch's protests about having more pets.
Clancy, who was not allowed pets as a child, now owns a menagerie including a black labrador, cavapoo, tabby cat, a stray kitten from Portugal, a lizard, and a horse named Enzo. She is also in talks with animal charities to offer mistreated horses a home on her Surrey estate.
