Model and television personality Abbey Clancy has announced she is expecting her fourth child with husband, former England footballer Peter Crouch. The 32-year-old shared the news on Instagram, posting a picture of her baby bump with the caption: 'When a hatrick just wont do !!! #babynumber4'.
The couple already have three children: Sophia Ruby, six; Liberty Rose, two; and 11-month-old Johnny. Clancy, who won the 2013 series of Strictly Come Dancing, has previously spoken about her desire for a large family, though she admitted she had to convince her husband to expand their brood.
In a 2017 interview, Clancy revealed: 'I’d love more, but the second one doesn’t sleep at all – she’s up every hour so Pete’s like ‘no more babies just yet’.' She also praised Crouch as a hands-on father, saying: 'He's such a capable dad, he's unbelievable. Since day one, he's been so hands-on – it's like she's got two mums.'
Clancy, who has always maintained she would continue working after having children, credited her own mother as a role model. 'I think it's important to keep your own identity when you've got a baby,' she said. 'My mum was always a working mum. I don't think it's something you should feel guilty about.'
