Abbey Clancy has hinted at the possibility of having a fifth child with her husband Peter Crouch, leaving the former footballer surprised. The couple, who met in a Liverpool bar during Crouch's time with the Reds, already have four children: Sophia Ruby, 15, Liberty Rose, 11, Johnny, eight, and Jack, seven.
On an episode of their podcast, The Therapy Crouch, Abbey, who turned 40 this year, expressed a desire for a newborn. She noted that many older women are having babies, citing actress Sienna Miller, 44, and her sister, who is 47 and pregnant.
Peter Crouch's Reaction
Peter responded with surprise, asking, "Would you really?" Abbey replied, "Sienna Miller's sister's pregnant, she's like 47. Sienna Miller, just had a baby (at the age of 44)." Peter quipped, "Fair play. Are they on second marriages?"
The former England international, now 45, had previously stated their family was complete, calling having four children "a ridiculous decision."
Recent Family Reunion
The couple were recently reunited after Peter's stint working for FOX Sports at the World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Abbey and the children flew out to join him, but their trip included a tense moment at airport security. Their eldest daughter, Sophia, made a comment about fingerprints on a gun, which drew the attention of border control officers.
Abbey explained on the podcast: "Those immigration officers are not fun. You cannot crack a joke with them. Sophia renewed her passport since she last visited the US, and she had to do her fingerprints. Sophia was like 'Why do I have to do fingerprints? Is that in case there are fingerprints on the gun?' They were like 'Sorry Miss, what did you say? What fingerprints on the gun?'"
Abbey clarified that Sophia was asking a hypothetical question, not admitting to any crime.
