22 Kids and Counting star Chloe Radford has been flooded with support after rushing her newborn son Bodhi to hospital. The young mum feared her baby was "in pain" and has been left feeling emotional following his birth.
Hospital dash over newborn's crying
In the upcoming instalment of the Channel 5 reality programme, scheduled to broadcast on Sunday (October 11), Chloe and her partner Jacob Wallace adjust to looking after their new arrival, Bodhi, but find themselves stretched to their limits as the infant cries incessantly.
Following a consultation with a doctor, the baby receives confirmation of good health, yet Chloe remains feeling exasperated and tearful, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Postnatal depression fears
In a preview clip posted to Instagram, Jacob reveals to the camera: "It's an absolute nightmare, crying constantly, waking up all the time, and Chloe's bursting into tears."
"I may be struggling with postnatal depression," Chloe reveals before voicing her worries about Bodhi: "I think he's in pain."
Chloe and Bodhi are subsequently shown in a hospital waiting area, where she says, "I just feel guilty."
Channel 5 preview and fan support
Channel 5 described the clip: "Baby Bhodi won't stop crying. Although doctors say he's fine, Chloe is convinced something is wrong. Exhausted but refusing to give up, will she get to the bottom of the problem?"
Supporters flooded the comments section to express their solidarity with Jacob and Chloe, with one individual posting: "Oh bless you xx Bhodi hope he's okay."
Another commented: "I feel this so much, had colic baby, and the newborn stage just gets ripped from you x", while a third contributed: "My first was like that, but 40yrs ago I had zero help, zero ppl to ask, and dr just looked at you like (confused emoji)."
"My youngest was a colicky baby who wouldn't have anyone else but me," another shared.
Chloe and Jacob welcomed Bodhi in April 2025, with Chloe announcing the joyful news to followers on Instagram. The Radford family made their comeback to Channel 5 last month with a fresh series of 22 Kids and Counting, allowing audiences to reconnect with 'Britain's largest family' throughout the past year.
Noel and Sue Radford's 22 children comprise Chris, Sophie, Chloe, Jack, Daniel, Luke, Millie, Katie, James, Ellie, Aimee, Josh, Max, Tillie, Oscar, Casper, Hallie, Phoebe, Archie, Bonnie, Heidie, and their brother, Alfie, who was tragically stillborn.
