Rebecca Hall has been cast as Katherine Solomon in Netflix's forthcoming series based on Dan Brown's novel The Secret of Secrets. She will appear opposite her husband, Morgan Spector, who is set to play Robert Langdon.
The novel, published on 9 September 2025, follows symbologist Robert Langdon as he races against ancient forces and time to rescue a missing scientist and her groundbreaking manuscript. Katherine, a scientist, is Langdon's girlfriend in the book.
The series is co-created by Dan Brown and Carlton Cuse, who have promised a blend of futuristic science and mystical lore, delivering the suspense and international intrigue associated with the Langdon stories. Cuse also serves as writer and showrunner, with Emma Forman and Zoe Robyn executive producing.
Netflix gave the project a straight-to-series order in May 2025. Langdon has previously appeared in five novels, including The Da Vinci Code and Inferno, and the film adaptations starring Tom Hanks have grossed approximately $2.24 billion worldwide.
