The Welsh Mountain Zoo is giving four people the chance to unlock a "unique money-can’t-buy weekend of experience and adventure". A new draw named "the keeper’s key" will allow one winner and three guests an exclusive weekend combining behind-the-scenes access to the zoo, a keeper experience and a Halloween evening.
As part of the package, the winning party will be given the keys to unlock the zoo on Halloween, be part of a unique out of hours twilight experience as well as being part of an amazing keeper for the afternoon experience and stay on the North Wales coast.

The full prize package includes:

- The chance to unlock Welsh Mountain Zoo before it opens on Halloween
- An exclusive keeper for the afternoon experience
- A special Halloween after-hours experience featuring a private silent disco, toasted s’mores and a twilight walk
- Family Annual Membership to Welsh Mountain Zoo
- A special keeper’s key keepsake
The funds raised through this prize draw will be used to support the future development of the zoo’s margay habitat, helping the zoo continue its long-standing commitment to the species.
Conservation commitment
Margays have been part of Welsh Mountain Zoo since 2007. During that time, the zoo has welcomed 10 margay kittens through its breeding programme. Most of the kittens born at the zoo have subsequently moved to other collections following recommendations from the European breeding programme, contributing to the wider co-ordinated management and conservation of the species.
A spokesperson for Welsh Mountain Zoo said: "We wanted to create a prize that feels genuinely different – something that gives people the chance to experience the Welsh Mountain Zoo in a way that simply isn't available on a normal day."

Entries close at 9am on October 15. The "keeper’s key" experience takes place on Saturday, October 31, with accommodation provided from Friday, October 30 to Sunday, November 1. You can enter online.
