Tom Daley Unrecognisable After Drag Race Makeover

Team GB gold medallist Tom Daley, 32, looks utterly unrecognisable after receiving a glamorous drag makeover from Drag Race star Plastique Tiara.

The Olympic diver was transformed with heavy makeup and a wig for a video on Plastique's YouTube channel. In the video, Daley could hardly believe the result, saying: "I still can't believe this is me!"

Husband's Stunned Reaction

Daley was not the only one left stunned by the transformation. His husband, American screenwriter and director Dustin Lance Black, 52, was blown away by the results.

"Oh my God, I'm straight now," Black said. "I mean you are f*** beautiful, I don't understand what's happening to me, I always knew you were gonna make a beautiful woman but this is exceptional."

A Love Story That Began in 2013

Daley previously described meeting Black at a friend's dinner as a "real love-at-first-sight thing," telling the Observer: "The first night, I took him to meet my friends and said, 'This is my boyfriend'. The next night we went on our first date. The next night he asked me to be his boyfriend. The night after that, after a couple of lychee martinis, he told me he loved me."

The couple spent four years together before marrying in 2017, celebrating their ninth wedding anniversary earlier this year with unseen snaps from the celebration. They have two sons, both born via surrogate.

No Issue with Age Gap

Despite their two-decade age difference, Daley insists it has never been a problem: "One hundred percent. It's funny because the people that know us know that I'm the more mature person that kind of runs the show in the house. As we get older, I think we both align very well on what we want to achieve."

"We're both really big dreamers. I think that was the biggest thing for us, that we're both so supportive of each other. We don't limit the other person's dreams. We really make each other feel like we can achieve whatever we set our minds to."

Daley retired from diving after the Paris Olympics in 2024, where he claimed silver in the 10m synchro.
