Strictly Come Dancing 2026 officially begins this weekend, with all 15 celebrity and professional pairings taking to the dance floor for their first routines of the series. The dances and songs for week one have now been confirmed.
Following last week's launch episode, audiences saw the famous faces discover which professional dancer they would be partnered with. The show also introduced a new presenting team, with Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe making their debut appearance together. They have replaced Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, who stepped down from the programme last year.
Judges' Scores Carried Forward
There will be no public vote or elimination this week, but the judges will still score each couple. Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke will give their first scores, which will be carried forward to the second week. Viewers will then get the chance to vote for the couples they want to support.
The opening routines feature a range of popular tracks, from Whitney Houston to Robbie Williams. Some couples will perform dances they may have been hoping for, while others face a different challenge.
