The 2026 FIFA World Cup now has an official song, as Shakira and Nigerian singer-songwriter Burna Boy have joined forces to release 'Dai Dai,' FIFA announced in a statement on Friday.

A Vibrant Celebration of Football and Unity

FIFA described the track as a vibrant celebration of football, culture, and unity, blending the global sounds and energy of both artists. 'Dai Dai brings together the global sounds and energy of Shakira and Burna Boy in a vibrant celebration of football, culture and unity,' the statement read.

Teaser and Royalties

Earlier in May, Colombian superstar Shakira hinted at the release by sharing a minute-long teaser clip on social media, writing: 'From Maracaná Stadium, here is “Dai Dai,” the FIFA World Cup Official Song 2026.' FIFA confirmed that royalties from the song, available on major streaming platforms, will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.
