Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor has paid a sweet tribute to her husband Tim, days after she shared an update on their daughter Phoebe's wedding.
The actress, known for playing Sally Metcalfe in the ITV soap filmed in Salford, took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday (September 29) to mark Tim's birthday, posting selfies of the couple from their travels together. "Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband @dynevortim [heart emojis]," she wrote.
A family celebration
Sally and Tim married in 1995. Tim is a BAFTA-nominated screenwriter for film and television. The couple share two daughters, Phoebe and Hattie, who have followed in their mother's acting footsteps, and a son, Sam.
The tribute comes after Sally's daughter Phoebe, 31, who shot to fame as Daphne Bridgerton in Netflix's Bridgerton, married American actor and producer Cameron Fuller earlier this month at a chateau in Provence, France. The bride wore a custom Louis Vuitton gown that took nearly 600 hours to make.
Wedding joy
On Thursday (September 17), Phoebe shared two photographs from the big day on Instagram, including a black and white picture of her and her new husband kissing under a floral-adorned wooden arch. "Married my best friend," she captioned the post.
Sally responded in the comments: "Best weekend of our life. Beautiful Phoebe and Cameron. Love you both so much." Sister Hattie, also an actress, added: "The best weekend ever."
Days later, Sally posted her own tribute, sharing a picture of the newlyweds alongside a photo of herself and Tim with Cameron's parents. She wrote: "What a truly wonderful weekend. We feel incredibly lucky to have Cameron and The Fuller family in our life. Here's to a lifetime of happiness, love and laughter. Love you all so much."
Her Coronation Street co-stars and celebrity friends responded warmly. Samia Longchambon wrote "DREAMY!!", Ryan Thomas replied "Special", Claire Sweeney wrote "Beautiful", and Sally Ann Matthews commented "Beautiful! You and Tim look fabulous too." Denise Welch said "Sally!! You look so beautiful," while Sally Lindsay added "O Sal. How beautiful."
