Prince Harry in Birmingham for Day Three of UK Visit
Prince Harry is set to arrive in Birmingham today for the third day of his highly anticipated return to the United Kingdom. After spending the first two days in London conducting private meetings and promoting his Invictus Games, the Duke of Sussex has travelled north to visit a children's hospital in the city.
Harry is currently in the UK alone, as it was decided at the last minute that it would be unsafe for his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children to accompany him due to security concerns. However, he is understood to be working "frantically" to secure private security so that his family can join him for the remainder of his trip.
King Charles Seeks to Reunite with Grandchildren
According to the Mirror, King Charles has instructed senior aides to engage in talks with the Sussexes to find a suitable time to see his grandchildren, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, four. The King has not seen them since 2022. The publication reports that a meeting is "hopeful."
“While nothing has been ruled out, conversations remain ongoing,” an insider said. Another source added, “The King would not pass up the opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren, and if there is a way of making it possible, he will do it.”
