Football presenter Giorgia Rossi has been told she is "25 times better than Diletta Leotta" after sharing pitch-side snaps while covering Serie A. Rossi was on duty for Parma's trip to Inter, where she showed off her figure while clutching her DAZN microphone in a skintight brown top, paired with oversized trousers and gold jewellery.
Fan reaction to San Siro outfit
Rossi also shared behind-the-scenes clips, including one of her bouncing up and down before going live, and posed on the famous San Siro steps with a phone to her ear. Fans flooded the comments with praise.
"The real spectacle in San Siro is you," one fan declared. Another responded: "You are amazing, without any vulgarity and so classy!" A third joked: "DAZN printing them out! Same as Leotta." A fourth shared: "The best one. Competent, elegant and not naked like the young sports 'journalists' of today!" Another added: "She is 25 times better than the Diletta!"
Criticism of DAZN presenters
Rossi is the latest of several DAZN hosts to gain attention online, following in the footsteps of Diletta Leotta. However, their outfits have drawn criticism from some quarters.
Valentina Maceri, who presents Champions League coverage in Switzerland, criticised the outfits of Eleonora Incardona, Giusy Meloni, Diletta Leotta, and Marialuisa Jacobelli, saying they demonstrated little professionalism and "lack style and class". She added: "If you want to speak on an equal level with players and officials, it's not conducive."
Rossi joined DAZN in 2021 after working for AS Roma's in-house channel, where she started her journalism career, as well as Sky, Rai and Mediaset.
