The 2026 PFA Awards take place on Tuesday, celebrating the best in English football from last season at the annual gala event. The ceremony is held at the Manchester Opera House, with the red carpet fan-pens opening at 2.30pm BST and the main awards ceremony getting underway around 7.30pm BST.

The main ceremony will not be broadcast on traditional UK television channels such as Sky Sports, BBC or TNT Sports. Instead, fans can stream the red carpet arrivals live on the PFA's official TikTok and YouTube accounts. The main award winners will be announced in real-time across the PFA's social media channels as the night unfolds.
Award categories and main nominees
The event celebrates top talent across English football, headlined by the men's and women's PFA Players' Player of the Year and the Men's and Women's PFA Young Player of the Year awards. The ceremony will also present the PFA Merit Award, recognise Community Champions and crown the Players' Player of the Year across the Championship, League One, League Two and the WSL2.
The Men's Players' Player of the Year shortlist is heavily dominated by Arsenal, featuring Declan Rice, Gabriel Magalhaes and David Raya, alongside Manchester City duo Erling Haaland and Rayan Cherki, as well as Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes, who was already named Premier League Player of the Year.
In the Women's top category, former winner Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw faces a shortlist that includes Arsenal's Alessia Russo, Chelsea's Lauren James, City team-mate Yui Hasegawa, United's Jess Park and Aston Villa's Kirsty Hanson.
