Peter Andre has issued a blistering five-word response to Lee Andrews' claims that he adopted all five of Katie Price's children. The singer's representative denied the remarks as 'categorically untrue' and 'yet another lie' from the self-proclaimed millionaire, who was recently released from prison in Dubai.
Andre's Response to Adoption Claims
Andrews, who married Price in January after a whirlwind romance, caused a stir when he alleged in a Cameo video that he had 'adopted five of them' – referring to Price's children. However, Andre – who shares Princess and Junior with the former Loose Women panellist – insisted nothing could be further from the truth. His spokesperson told Metro: 'They haven't even met him!'
Andrews' Claims and Reality
Andrews, who has yet to set foot in the UK since the wedding, claimed to have a strong connection with Price's family. In the video, he said: 'I haven't got children, but we're trying. I've adopted five of them. I love my wife and I love her children.' This is not the first time his remarks have raised eyebrows; he previously alleged he had met some of her children, but a representative later clarified he had only spoken to them via FaceTime.
Price's Caution and Recent Developments
Price herself had shared she had no plans to introduce Andrews to her children until she got to know him better. Months after their wedding, she confessed: 'For me to introduce him to the kids, I won't be introducing him to the kids yet, because I want to get to know him more myself.' The situation is complicated by Andrews' recent release from Al Awir prison in Dubai, where he faced a reported £140,000 release fee. Price has since returned to the Middle East, showing off a new ring from Andrews and resharing an image of the pair with the caption 'wedding goals'.
