Michael Sheen is the bookies' favourite to win The Celebrity Traitors when the second series kicks off on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 8pm on October 1.
According to ActionNetwork.com, the actor has a 22.2 per cent probability of securing the prize pot for his chosen charity. Richard E. Grant follows with an 18.2 per cent chance, while Game of Thrones star Bella Ramsey is at 16.7 per cent.
Bookies Predict Traitor Selection
Bookies have also shared odds on who is most likely to be selected as a Traitor by host Claudia Winkleman. Comedian Romesh Ranganathan leads that market with a 28.6 per cent probability, followed closely by Bella Ramsey, Michael Sheen and Richard E. Grant.
James Blunt and Miranda Hart are also in the running to betray the Faithfuls, each with an 18.2 per cent probability. The bookies suggest the Traitors may once again scheme their way to victory at the final round table.
Outsiders and Odds
At the other end of the scale, YouTuber King Kenny and journalist Amol Rajan have winning probabilities of less than five per cent each. Bookies are not confident in their ability to make it far in the competition.
A spokesperson from ActionNetwork.com said: "Ahead of the start of series two of The Celebrity Traitors, Michael Sheen tops the winner odds list at 7/2, and it's easy to see why. As an accomplished actor, he has the range to convincingly play a traitor, and could well end up filling the 'big dog' role Jonathan Ross took on last series."
The spokesperson added: "Turning to the most likely contestants to be named a traitor this series, since Claudia & the producers might again lean on a comedian for that role, Romesh Ranganathan leads that market at 5/2 - though with Alan Carr's victorious traitor run still fresh in everyone's minds, the comedians on this cast may find themselves facing extra suspicion from the start."
