Former The Only Way Is Essex star Megan McKenna has teamed up with ex-Great British Bake Off judge Prue Leith for an ITV show, and fans are calling it the crossover they didn't know they needed.
McKenna, who is also a singer and food author, posted a video on Instagram showing the pair together in Leith's Cotswolds kitchen. The clip featured the pair miming along to the Love Island audio, swapping the word 'villa' for 'kitchen'.
Fans React to the Announcement
In the caption, McKenna wrote: "Oh, we mean business. Coming soon to @prueleith Cotswolds kitchen, any guesses what I cooked for Pru to impress her? We had so much fun. Thank you for having me today. Keep an eye out for our episode on ITV".
Fans flooded the comments with excitement. One wrote: "The combination we didn't know that we needed!", while another said: "Aww, love this, can't wait to watch you both together." A third commented: "Oh wow, brilliant, please keep us posted for when this is going to air."
McKenna's Journey and Leith's Bake Off Exit
McKenna, who has coeliac disease and a wheat allergy, has turned her personal experience into a mission to make restricted diets fun and inclusive. She has released bestselling gluten-free cookbooks and advocates for coeliac disease awareness.
Leith stepped back from her judging role on The Great British Bake Off this year, with Nigella Lawson taking over. The 86-year-old had been on the show for almost a decade but decided to leave because filming during the summer meant she missed time with her family.
What's Next for Megan McKenna
Since winning The X Factor: Celebrity in 2019, McKenna has continued her pivot into country music, performing and writing songs about heartbreak, trust, and self-discovery. She welcomed her son Landon in October 2024 and married footballer Oliver Burke in June 2025.
