Maura Higgins has been spotted arriving at the Dancing With The Stars studios in Los Angeles on Thursday, wearing a casual white vest top and a low-key cool attitude as production officially kicks off. The reality TV personality is preparing to take the ballroom by storm with her trademark charm, effortlessly chic style and blunt Irish wit.
New York and US Open appearances
Just one day earlier, Higgins was seen strolling through SoHo in New York City with her newly-announced professional partner, Mark Ballas. Before heading to West Coast rehearsals, the Love Island favourite swapped the sunshine of her native Longford for the bright lights of the Big Apple, where she stepped out looking every inch the glamour girl alongside a host of stars at the US Open tennis tournament.
Prior connection with Mark Ballas
Higgins and Ballas already know each other well after appearing together on the fourth season of The Traitors US earlier this year. The pair formed a tight bond during their time in the Scottish castle, with Higgins later revealing that their shared love of dancing was a huge part of their off-screen friendship.
"Me and Mark were dancing all the time," she told Elle earlier this year. "Even my whole friendship with Mark, none of it was aired. I still am so close with Mark."

While Higgins was revealed as one of the first celebrities joining the upcoming ballroom line-up, her professional partner was kept strictly under wraps until the full cast was unveiled on Good Morning America on Wednesday. Higgins, who finished as runner-up on The Traitors US, previously competed on Dancing on Ice in 2020 and has spoken of doing Irish dancing as a child.
