The first batch of tickets for Glastonbury 2027 have sold out in just 30 minutes. Many fans were caught out by a change to the ticket-buying system, with music fans noticing that users could no longer log in on multiple devices, and registration codes producing just one queue number.
Change to ticket-buying system
The change seems to be an attempt to tackle bots, but ruined many fans’ plans to use a “syndicate” system where friends use the same code to improve their chances. The coach tickets - that include Glastonbury entry and coach travel to and from the festival - went on sale at 6pm, but See Tickets announced they were sold out by 6.31pm.
General admission sale details
The general admission tickets for Glastonbury 2027 go on sale at 9am on Sunday October 4, at £408 a ticket - an increase of £29.50 from 2025. Registration for tickets closed on September 25, and will not reopen until after the October ticket sales as part of the festival’s campaign to stop touts.
Festival return and headliner rumours
The festival is returning after the fallow year in 2026, as rumours swirl about the possible headliners. Glastonbury co-organiser Emily Eavis has ruled out both Madonna and Oasis. The 1975, Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts, and Olivia Rodrigo headlined the 2025 event.
