Emmerdale star Bradley Johnson left fans with 'goosebumps' as he shared his own stunning tribute to Dolly Parton following the singer's death this week.
Some may not know that the actor, who plays Vinny Dingle in the ITV soap, which is filmed in Leeds, is a singer himself. Bradley's rise to fame began in 2017 when he appeared on the BBC talent show Let It Shine, competing for a role in the Take That musical, in which he made the final.
A singer as well as an actor
Since appearing in Emmerdale, having made his debut back in 2019, Bradley has continued to show off his impressive vocals by frequently sharing acoustic covers on his Instagram page, while also partaking in Emmerdale's YouTube series, The Woolpack Session.
Now, Bradley has shared his rendition of I Will Always Love You in tribute to Parton, who died this week at the age of 80. The sad news was announced by her nephew, Bryan Seaver, who also served as her head of security, on Tuesday (August 25) evening via a video shared on Instagram.
News of Parton's death
He said it was "an honour that is mixed with absolute pride and great sadness" to share the news of her death, adding: "But sadness lies with us, not with Dolly. Dolly has lived in the light and is in the arms of Jesus, surely met by Carl, her parents and countless others who have watched her and longed to meet her in the heavens."
Parton's publicist, Marcel Pariseau, later said she died after a "brief battle with cancer". Following the family's announcement, he said: "After bravely facing a brief battle with cancer, Dolly departed her earthly life today at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Centre surrounded by loved ones."

Captioning his tribute, Bradley wrote on Instagram: "A true legend! Rest in peace Dolly [heart emoji] #dolly #dollyparton #cover #singer #iwillalwaysloveyou," and it wasn't long before the compliments came flooding in.
