Dianne Buswell marked her first day back at work on Strictly Come Dancing with a heartfelt Instagram post featuring her baby son. The professional dancer, who gave birth in March, returned to rehearsals on Monday (July 27) ahead of the 2026 series.
Emotional Goodbye
Buswell shared a picture of herself with her son, Bowden Richard Mark Sugg, on her Instagram Story, writing: "First day back at work [face holding back tears emoji]. Mummy will miss you so much my boy [heart emoji]." She later added: "So many lovely positive msgs from other mummas. Thank you all. Means a lot."
Reunion After Work
After rehearsals, Buswell posted a video of four-month-old Bowie lying beside her as they both stuck out their tongues. "He learnt this with daddy today," she captioned the clip. She also shared a group photo with her Strictly co-stars, including five new professional dancers, writing: "What a team! Happy first day pros. And biggest welcome to our newbies. Can't believe this is my 10th year on Strictly."
New Pros and Departures
The 2026 lineup of professional dancers began rehearsals on July 27, following the announcement that Aleksandra Isaeva, Cristian Priori, Lethabo Monametsi, Maddie Ingoldsby and Mark Karmalita would join the show. Gorka Marquez, Michelle Tsiakkas, Karen Hauer, Nadiya Bychkova and Luba Mushtuk departed earlier this year. The new series is set to air in September.
