Coronation Street fans have made a prediction about Lucy Parkinson as the truth about her mum's death appeared to come to light following her shocking outburst at Sally Metcalfe.
Those who follow the ITV soap, which is filmed in Salford, know that the teenager has been in the care of Sally and her husband, Tim, since the death of her mother, Rachel, and the imprisonment of her father, Richie.
Richie's Arrival and Rachel's Death
It was only a few episodes earlier that Richie made his way to Weatherfield, revealed to be Tim's cousin. After picking up a cab fare, Tim was surprised to be reunited with his family member, and it wasn't long before he was seen sleeping on Tim's sofa, admitting he was going through a rocky patch with his wife, Rachel.
But what soon transpired wasn't anything Tim and his wife, Sally, were expecting. Tim advised Richie to try to sort things out with Rachel, so he headed home, but he accidentally left his wallet behind. When Tim returned later on, he was left in shock as he saw Richie's shirt covered in blood, and then he made the horrifying discovery of Rachel's lifeless body.
Lucy's Outburst at Sally
After Richie was arrested and charged with the crime, it was confirmed that his daughter, Lucy, would be placed in temporary foster care. But when her placement fell through, Tim went behind Sally's back and organised a meeting with the social worker, saying he and his wife would take her in, as they had done with the Michaelis children - Brody, Joanie and Shanice.
However, while Lucy has appeared to have bonded with Tim, Sally has been struggling to cope with the teen, and things took a terrifying turn during the latest episode of Corrie on Tuesday (September 22).
Sally was trying to sort out some lunch for Lucy when she found some of her artwork in the kitchen. The drawing was of a woman screaming, with quite dark words and phrases added, sparking concern for the mum-of-two. When Lucy emerged, she was angered that Sally was touching her work, and, in the heat of the moment, she pulled the paper from Sally's hands, ripping it in the process.
Fans React to Confession Hint
In her rage, Lucy threw her phone at Sally before Tim arrived home to see Lucy storming out. While Sally told her husband they weren't equipped to be able to help Lucy with her issues, Tim disagreed, and he ended up finding Lucy and offering her support.
As it caused a rift between the married couple, later, Lucy was seen receiving a call from her dad. Emotionally, she told Richie about what had happened with Sally, and how she thinks there is "something bad inside" of her. It was then that she said, "What if I'd done to her what I did to mum?" hinting at fans' suspicions that Lucy may have killed her mum, and her dad is covering for her.
And it quickly got Corrie viewers assuming that that was Lucy's confession, while also making a prediction about what issues the troubled teen could be facing.
