Channel 4 has faced criticism following the confirmation of the full line-up for Celebrity Handcuffed, the spin-off of Handcuffed: Last Pair Standing. The celebrities will be forced to cope being chained to each other 24/7, doing everything just inches apart.
Announcing the line-up, Channel 4 said it has paired celebrities with "completely opposed opinions, beliefs, lifestyles, and bad habits, handcuffed together 24/7 in the ultimate test of survival". The pairs include Katie Price and former home secretary Suella Braverman, former England footballer Neil 'Razor' Ruddock alongside drag star Bimini, as well as Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona and Made in Chelsea's Mark-Francis Vandelli. Completing the line-up is socialite Lady Victoria Hervey and reality star and women's rights campaigner Georgia Harrison MBE, along with celebrity DJ Fat Tony and aristocrat Princess Olga Romanov.
Social media backlash over Hervey's past comments
Victoria Hervey's casting has sparked fury, with many taking to social media to express their concerns over previous comments she has made about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Jeffrey Epstein.
TV personality Narinder Kaur wrote on X: "Lady Victoria Hervey? @Channel4 She's defended Prince Andrew... basically called Virginia Giuffre a liar, defended Maxwell and said if you weren't on the Epstein list you're? 'A loser' Wow. Pretty astonishing choice. How do you think victims will feel?"
Another person agreed: "She's probably mates with someone high up at CH4. Isn’t that why they have her on the show? They know it will outrage people & give their show more exposure. Hervey is a nasty, talentless woman. I won’t be watching but that’s cos I just don’t like the format."
Pairing with Georgia Harrison draws criticism
A third weighed in: "Hopefully she makes a sausage of herself. I won’t see it. What god awful ‘entertainment’ I have had root canal surgery before that won’t be as painful as sitting through this." Another pointed out: "And to pair her with Georgia Harrison who is a survivor of sex crime. What were they thinking!"
Stephen Bear was found guilty of voyeurism and disclosing private sexual photographs and films and sentenced to 21 months in March 2023 after he uploaded footage of him having sex with Georgia, 31, without her consent.
Hervey's previous remarks on Epstein files
Meanwhile, Hervey has come under fire in the past for comments she has made about Andrew, 66, and the late convicted sex offender Epstein. After a new batch of Epstein files were released at the beginning of the year, it appeared to confirm the legitimacy of the infamous photo of Andrew, Virginia Giuffre and Ghislane Maxwell, which has long been disputed.
Ms Giuffre accused Andrew and Epstein of sexual abuse before she died by suicide aged 41 in April 2025. Hervey, who dated Andrew in the late 1990s, publicly claimed the image was not real during an appearance on LBC. "What I would love you to do another time is to try and recreate that photo and see what the arm does," Hervey said.
She then claimed to have proof that the image was fake, noting that when Andrew recreated the pose, it was impossible for his arm to match the position seen in the original photograph. "I can't show it because it's very private but Andrew recreated that pose and the arm, it's impossible," Hervey said. She also claimed that people were "losers" if they were not included in the Epstein files and insisted that the disgraced businessman isn't actually dead, but hiding out in Israel.
