Timothée Chalamet has revealed the brutal aftermath of his Golden Globes victory, admitting he was left 'hungover' and in need of 'help' the following day. The actor won the award for Best Actor in a Drama Film at the 2026 ceremony for his portrayal of a table tennis champion in the sports film Marty Supreme.
In a humorous Instagram story, Chalamet shared a meme of someone saying from the back of a car: 'Well we had a time last night, I'm telling you now.' He captioned it: 'SO HUNGOVER NEED HELP.' The post also included a close-up of his Golden Globe trophy and his name card from the event.
The 30-year-old attended the ceremony with his partner of three years, Kylie Jenner, who wore a gold fitted dress inspired by the award. During his acceptance speech, Chalamet thanked his cast and crew, director Josh Safdie, and his family, saying: 'My dad instilled in me a spirit of gratitude growing up... It's allowed me to leave this ceremony in the past empty-handed, my head held high, grateful just to be here. But I would be lying if those moments didn't make this moment that much sweeter.'
He also made a heartfelt mention of Jenner, saying: 'For my parents, for my partner, I love you. Thank you so much.' This follows a similar tribute at the Critics' Choice Awards, where he called her his 'foundation.' The couple, who first met in 2019 and went public in 2023, have been attending more events together recently, shutting down split rumours.
