US actress Rachel Zegler will return to the West End next year for a Live In London concert residency, described as “unlike anything she’s done before”. The 25-year-old will perform at the Soho Place theatre in London from January 5 to January 17 in “her most intimate shows to date”, showcasing her “sublime vocals and extraordinary stage presence”.
Return Following West End Success
The concert residency has been produced by Lambert Jackson with musical supervision and arrangements by Adam Hoskins. It follows Zegler’s West End debut last year in Jamie Lloyd’s revival of Sir Tim Rice and Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical Evita, where she played the former first lady of Argentina – a role that won her first Olivier award.
Her performance included a rendition of “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina” from the London Palladium theatre balcony to passers-by. She returned to the venue in October for her debut solo concert, featuring popular musical theatre songs and personal favourites. Earlier this year, she appeared on the West End stage as Cathy Hiatt in Jason Robert Brown’s musical The Last Five Years, opposite US actor Ben Platt.

Further details about her first London residency are yet to be revealed. It has been described as an “unforgettable experience” due to the venue’s intimacy, with audiences sitting no further than six rows from the stage. Tickets go on sale at 12pm on September 30, with a presale taking place hours before.

Career Highlights
Zegler made her name as Maria in the 2021 remake of West Side Story before playing Snow White in Disney’s live action remake of its 1930s animated film. She faced social media backlash for being cast as a character described as having a complexion “as white as snow”, given her Colombian background.
She also starred in The Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes, a prequel to The Hunger Games franchise, as well as Shazam! Fury Of The Gods and Y2K. Zegler made her Broadway debut in 2024 opposite Kit Connor in Sam Gold’s production of Romeo And Juliet. She will return to the New York stage in February 2027 when Evita transfers to Broadway, reprising her role as Eva Peron.
