Prince Harry has made his second appearance in New York City, following his first engagement just a day earlier. The 42-year-old, who is currently living back in the UK with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children, made a quick trip to the US this week for several important engagements.

The royal appeared at the Clinton Global Initiative 2026 Annual Meeting on Wednesday, where he delivered a speech on the dangers of AI, particularly for children. During his address, a technical glitch delayed the conclusion of his remarks.
Harry later returned to the stage, joking to the audience: "So, AI got into my speech..."
Panel Discussion on AI and the Future of Work
On September 24, Harry joined the Diana Award and ServiceNow at Goals House NYC for a panel discussion about the future of work, young people and AI.
Harry has remained actively involved as a patron of The Diana Award, the only charity established in memory of his late mother, Princess Diana, to recognise young changemakers.
Cancelled Fundraising Dinner
A high-profile fundraising dinner for The Diana Award had been scheduled for September 18, 2026, at Raffles London at The OWO. However, it was abruptly cancelled amid reports of behind-the-scenes complications and media attention regarding potential attendee logistics.
Spokespersons had previously clarified that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who are thought to be living in the Cotswolds, were not officially scheduled to attend that specific event.
Meghan has not made any public appearances since her return to Britain and is thought to have remained at their new UK home with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet whilst Harry returned to the US.
