Emma Willis, the new host of Strictly Come Dancing, lives in a luxurious countryside property in Hertfordshire with her husband, Busted star Matt Willis, and their three children. The couple relocated from London to a newly built residence, which they extensively renovated to suit their tastes.
A Modern Twist on a Country Cottage
Emma once told House Beautiful: "The house looks like a country cottage, but inside, the rooms were very square and the walls were white." She added: "We more or less pulled it down and started over, trying to mirror the cottage style but with a modern twist."
Last year, Emma transformed her kitchen, fitting a dusty pink design featuring a large island with a white worktop, a sink, and a seating area. The remaining cabinets are black with gold fixtures, providing a striking contrast to the pink.
Personal Style and Seasonal Decor
Emma shared with her Instagram followers: "I've always played safe with colour but wanted to give the tradition style a bit of personality and fell in love with the charcoal and antique rose colour combo."
Outside, the family has an expansive area for play, gatherings, and relaxation. The paved patio includes a large barbecue station with views across rolling fields, ample seating, and a basketball hoop for the children. Expansive bifold doors open directly onto the garden, allowing the family to enjoy the outdoor space even when temperatures drop.
Festive Front Door Displays
Emma also decorates her home seasonally, frequently sharing Christmas displays. In 2022, her entrance featured miniature Christmas trees with white baubles, a coordinating wreath, and an oversized decoration above the door. Last year, her front door was adorned with multi-coloured baubles in a festive arrangement, framed by a matching wreath.
