WWE 2K26 Season 4 start time, date, new content and Hardy Boyz return

WWE 2K26 Season 4 is hours away, bringing the return of Matt and Jeff Hardy alongside new Persona cards and cosmetics. The latest update as part of the Ringside Pass is set to drop on Wednesday, July 22.

Start time and server maintenance

Season 4 will go live at roughly 6pm BST (10am PT, 1pm ET). A short period of server downtime is expected ahead of the rollout, meaning matchmaking and online play may be unavailable for an hour or two. The last pre-DLC patch, 1.12, was roughly 8GB on Xbox, so a similar download size is anticipated with a new patch promised "in support" of Season 4.

New wrestlers

Four new wrestlers join the premium track of the Ringside Pass: Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, AAA luchadora Lady Shani, and country musician Jelly Roll. Previous seasons remain unlockable for those who haven't completed Seasons 1-3.

Alternate attires and Persona Cards

On the premium track, Jeff Hardy '00 and Lita '00 will be available. The free track adds John Cena '25, Chad Gable '16, and Shinsuke Nakamura '23. Themed cosmetics, such as Hardy Boyz attire, are also unlockable. New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson returns to the game in the July 22 patch.

How to unlock content

Content is locked to the Ringside Pass. Players earn Ringside Pass XP (RXP) by playing any game mode (Play Now, Universe, MyRise, Showcase, MyGM, MyFaction, or The Island) while connected to 2K servers. Custom lobbies and AI simulations do not grant RXP. Winning matches provides an RXP multiplier over the base amount. Daily and seasonal challenges offer bigger RXP boosts. Players can toggle between seasons in the Ringside Pass menus. Premium Track holders can purchase optional tier skips to unlock content immediately.
