Volcano Princess, a Chinese-developed daughter-raising simulator, has just launched on PlayStation 5 and now holds the record for the most trophies of any game on the platform, with a total of 236. The game, from developer Egg Hatcher, originally released on PC in 2023 and came to Xbox Series X/S in 2025 with 100 achievements. The PS5 version more than doubles that count, according to PSNProfiles.
All but one trophy are bronze
Of the 236 trophies, 235 are bronze—the easiest tier—and the remaining one is the platinum trophy earned by unlocking all others. Based on a quick overview, most trophies can be obtained naturally during gameplay, such as earning a set amount of gold or completing activities a certain number of times. However, some require multiple playthroughs to pursue romance routes and different endings.
Record depends on definition
While Volcano Princess has the most trophies of any base PS5 game, compilations and titles with DLC boast higher counts. For instance, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered and Train Sim World 2 (with 48 DLC packs, totaling 411 trophies) exceed it. Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition has 71 base trophies but balloons to 358 with 11 DLC packs. The Xbox One version of Halo: The Master Chief Collection holds the Guinness World Record for most achievements in an Xbox game at 600, though it includes multiple games and DLC. Rare Reap has 200 achievements, the most for a single Xbox title, but is also a compilation.
