BBC drama The Bombing of Pan Am 103 is set to stream on Netflix from Thursday, 30 July. The six-part series, inspired by the 1988 Lockerbie bombing that killed 270 people, has been hailed by viewers as a '10/10' and 'perfect'.

The drama features a stellar ensemble including Connor Swindells, Eddie Marsan, Phyllis Logan, Patrick J. Adams, Peter Mullan, Lauren Lyle, Tony Curran, and Kevin McKidd. It traces the joint investigation by Scottish police and US law enforcement as they seek answers and justice after the transatlantic flight exploded over Scotland.
Lead writer Jonathan Lee told the BBC he consulted many real-life figures from the original inquiry. 'A number of the real former detectives on the case were able to give us first-hand accounts of being Glasgow CID detectives on duty that night when the plane fell from the sky onto their corner of Scotland, and that informed those characters,' he said.
