Netflix has released the first official trailer for its upcoming animated film 'Swapped', featuring voice performances by Michael B. Jordan and Juno Temple. The trailer, shared across Netflix's social media channels, includes a personal introduction from Jordan alongside his young niece and nephew.
Directed by Nathan Greno, known for Disney's 'Tangled', 'Swapped' is a co-production between Netflix and Skydance Animation. The screenplay is written by John Whittington, Christian Magalhaes, and Robert Snow, with the story by Whittington, Adam Karp, Magalhaes, Snow, and Greno.
The film follows a small woodland creature (voiced by Jordan) and a majestic bird (voiced by Temple), natural enemies of The Valley, who suddenly swap bodies. Forced to cooperate while experiencing life in each other's feathers and fur, they embark on a wild adventure. The cast also includes comedians Cedric the Entertainer and Tracy Morgan.
Producers on the project are John Lasseter, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Mary Ellen Bauder Andrews. 'Swapped' marks Jordan's first film since his Best Actor nomination for 'Sinners'. The trailer is now available online.
