The BBC has confirmed that a second season of the murder mystery thriller I, Jack Wright is currently in production, following the conclusion of the first series on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

The six-part series, written by Chris Lang (Unforgotten, Innocent), originally debuted in April 2025 on U&Alibi before being acquired by the BBC. It follows high-powered businessman Jack Wright, whose death sends shockwaves through his family, pitting greed, loyalty, and suspicion against one another. The star-studded cast includes Nikki-Amuka-Bird, John Simm, Daniel Rigby, Ruby Ashbourne-Serkis, Zoë Tapper, Percelle Ascott, Harry Lloyd, and Liz Kingsman.
Will There Be an I, Jack Wright Season Two?
Yes, season two is in production. The BBC acquired both series, ensuring the second season will air on the channel. A synopsis teases: "The Wrights are back – and deadlier than ever. Still reeling from the death of patriarch Jack, the family are blindsided by the arrest of one of their own for his murder. But have the police got the right person? Add in one new family member, two new wills, and three new bodies, and prepare for an explosive return."
