Halo Campaign Evolved, a modern remake of the original Halo, is set for release on July 28 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and will also be available on Xbox Game Pass. However, fans can access the game five days early by purchasing the Premium Edition.

Early Access Release Time

Early access begins on July 23 at 4pm BST in the UK, according to countdown clocks on the PlayStation Store and Steam. In the US, the early access starts at 8am PT / 11am ET, and in Europe at 5pm CET.

How to Get Early Access

To play early, customers must buy the Premium Edition, priced at £69.99 in the UK. This includes the core game, the Foundry Armoury pre-order pack, five days of early access, the Alpha Armoury Pack, a digital artbook, and the Halo: Hungry Buzzards Digital Short Story. The regular edition costs £49.99 and includes the core game and Foundry Armoury pack.

What Is Halo Campaign Evolved?

Halo Campaign Evolved is a remake of the original Halo with new visuals, improved cinematics, and updated controls. It features the original story plus a new three-mission adventure with Master Chief and Sgt. Johnson. According to Microsoft, it offers "a broader arsenal of weapons, vehicles, enemies, and gameplay-modifying 'Skulls' – optional modifiers that change combat in fun and challenging ways – add fresh tactics and endless replayability." The game supports co-op for up to four players online or two in couch co-op.
