Dianne Buswell, the professional dancer from Strictly Come Dancing, has marked her first performance of the year, reuniting with co-star Vito Coppola just months after giving birth to her first child. The 2024 series winner with comedian Chris McCausland welcomed her baby boy, Bowden, in March with partner Joe Sugg, a YouTube star she met on the show in 2018.
First Show Since Motherhood
Sharing a photo on her Instagram Story, Buswell wrote: "First show of the year for mumma Di! Of course with the help of the best dance partner @vitocoppola." The performance comes ahead of her return to the BBC One dance show for the 2026 series, confirmed in May, which is set to begin in September.
'Back in Business' Tour Announced
Buswell and Coppola recently announced their second joint-headline tour, 'Back in Business,' following the success of their 2025 show 'Red Hot & Ready.' In a promotional video, Buswell was seen with a nappy stuck to her heel before meeting Coppola in a lift. The duo said: "WE'RE……. BACK IN BUSINESS! Come Join us, for a night packed with incredible dancing, big laughs, and plenty of surprises along the way." Pre-sale began the next day, with general sale on Friday.
Support from Fellow Stars
The announcement received enthusiastic support from Strictly colleagues. Amy Dowden commented: "Go on guys! Love this and can't wait," while Johannes Radebe replied: "Reporting for duty." Michelle Tsiakkas added: "Let's go guys! This looks amazing!"
Buswell and Sugg, who have been sharing updates on their family life via Instagram and YouTube, are adjusting to parenthood while Buswell prepares for her return to the ballroom.
