Game Freak has released a major update for its action RPG Beast of Reincarnation, version 1.0.7, now available on PC. The patch targets common player complaints, including pacing, camera adjustments, and a host of bug fixes.
Key Changes in Patch 1.0.7
The most significant changes involve game pacing and balancing tweaks to the Normal difficulty. The default cinematic cutscene setting has been switched from Cinematic to Performance mode, meaning cutscenes no longer play at 24fps by default, though the option remains available. Players can now remap the interact button, and various camera adjustments have been made both in and out of combat.
Story pacing has been slightly adjusted by limiting certain affinity-building conversations that could occur multiple times in a row to once per day. Text size has been increased throughout the game, with further adjustments planned.
Bug Fixes and Balance Adjustments
The patch includes numerous bug fixes, such as resolving an issue where the 6th golem in Subcity 01 was difficult to find, and fixing a bug where Emma becomes unable to interact if a Bloom Art is cancelled. Balance adjustments have been made to bosses across all difficulty levels and enemy encounters on Normal difficulty.
Additional fixes address button icon type changes not saving correctly, upscaling settings resetting on restart, and a V-Sync bug that impacted resolution settings. Game Freak also promises future updates will implement DLSS 4/4.5 and FSR 4, along with further story pacing adjustments.
Currently, the update is only available on PC, with no word on when it will arrive for PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.
