Teenager Dies After Falling Ill on School Bus in Fife

A 15-year-old boy has died after becoming unwell on a school bus in Fife. Emergency services were called to the A92 Halbeath roundabout in Dunfermline at around 1:45pm on Monday, but the teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have launched an investigation and are treating the death as unexplained. A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed that enquiries are ongoing.

Stephen Ross, headteacher at Beath High School, expressed devastation at the news. 'We are all devastated by this news and our thoughts are very much with the family and loved ones at this sensitive and difficult time,' he said. 'We are looking after our young people and arranging support across the school community.'
