A kindergartener named Xavier received a surprise graduation ceremony on a Frontier Airlines flight after missing his original event due to travel. The airline crew organised the in-flight celebration, which was captured on video and shared on social media.
In the video, Xavier walks down the aisle wearing his red cap and gown as passengers cheer and applaud. A crew member announces over the intercom: 'He is missing his kindergarten graduation today. And because he chose to fly Frontier instead, we’re giving him his graduation ceremony on this flight.' The classical tune 'Pomp and Circumstance' plays in the background while travellers offer high-fives.
Frontier Airlines explained in a TikTok caption: 'When Xavier missed his kindergarten graduation due to traveling out of town, our flight attendants stepped in to surprise him with a special in-flight ceremony.' The post received widespread praise, with comments such as 'He will never forget this' and 'AWWWWWW. MY HEART MELTED.'
Xavier’s mother, Jay, also shared the video on her own social media, expressing gratitude to the airline. She explained that her son missed the graduation because of a family event, and she had brought his cap and gown expecting only a photo with the pilots. 'The staff at Frontier Airlines went above and beyond,' she wrote. 'This was unforgettable.'
