Mum of 22 Sue Radford Mocks School Fines as She Jets Off on 10th Holiday

Sue Radford, the mother of 22 children and star of the reality show 22 Kids and Counting, has sparked controversy by laughing about school fines while embarking on her 10th family holiday of the year. The 50-year-old posted on social media that she had swapped Britain for France for 'some interesting filming', sharing a picture of an airport runway.

In a follow-up story, she wrote: 'Also couldn’t believe how busy the airport was with lots of children heading to see the real Santa, hope they don’t get a school fine,' accompanied by a laughing emoji. This comes just months after she and her husband Noel were fined for taking four of their children out of school for a £52,000 trip to Florida to celebrate her 50th birthday.

The couple were found guilty of failing to ensure regular school attendance and were ordered to pay £65 per child, plus £118 in court costs, totalling £378. Despite previously telling the Daily Mail they were 'feeling the pinch' financially, they were happy to spend over £50,000 on the Florida trip, calling it the 'trip of a lifetime'.

This year alone, the Radfords have taken holidays to Florida (twice), Ireland, the Caribbean, Dubai, and now France. Their children range in age from 35 to five, and the family lives in a 10-bedroom former care home in Morecambe, Lancashire, complete with an outdoor bar, cinema, and swimming pool.
