Tragedy Strikes Behind Sydney High School
A second teenage boy has been charged with murder after a 17-year-old was allegedly stabbed to death near his school in Sydney's northwest. The fatal incident occurred at a park behind Rouse Hill High School at approximately 4.20pm on Monday.
Police Investigation Leads to Second Arrest
The victim, a 17-year-old boy, succumbed to stab wounds to his thigh following a confrontation. The initial police response led to the arrest of a 15-year-old boy who presented himself at Riverstone Police Station with a parent shortly before 7pm on the day of the attack.
Investigations continued throughout Tuesday, culminating in a second arrest. NSW Police confirmed they charged another 15-year-old boy with murder after searching a home on Collins Circuit in Rouse Hill at about 9.45pm on Tuesday.
Court Proceedings Begin for Accused Teenager
The second accused teenager was refused bail and is scheduled to appear before a children’s court on Wednesday. This development marks a significant escalation in a case that has shocked the local community and raised serious concerns about youth violence.
