Police and paramedics have been deployed to a school in the Manchester area following an incident. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed that officers are currently responding to an incident at a school on Plant Hill Road in Blackley, where a schoolgirl has been arrested.

Three people have been injured, although their injuries are not believed to be serious at this time. Emergency services remain on the scene and are providing support to the school. Authorities have stated that there is no believed wider threat to pupils or staff within the school.
