Argentine streamer Sebastián Funes, 27, known online as Chatterbox, and his father were killed in a multi-vehicle crash on July 5, 2026, while returning from his grandmother's funeral in Pehuajó, Argentina. The accident occurred at km 349 on National Route 5 when their vehicle collided with a pickup truck and a lorry.

Funes and his father died at the scene. His mother and 12-year-old sister sustained injuries and were taken to a hospital in Pehuajó. The pickup driver suffered minor injuries, while the lorry driver was unharmed.

Investigation
The cause of the crash is under investigation. Investigators suspect it may have occurred during an overtaking manoeuvre on rain-drenched roads after a heavy downpour.
