Farage calls it 'instant karma'
'She won't do that again in a hurry,' one of Farage's aides remarked. The Reform UK leader shared the clip on Facebook, adding: 'This lady shouted abuse at me and then crashed her own car. That's what you might call instant karma!' He also noted a comment on Instagram: 'God punishes some quicker than others'.
Farage's declining popularity
Farage's popularity has been declining since mid-August last year, with a recent poll showing he is less popular than Sir Keir Starmer at the time of his resignation. His party has faced scrutiny over donations and support, including a £5 million 'gift' before the 2024 election.
Farage triggered a by-election in Clacton, framing it as a 'people versus the establishment' battle. However, all major parties boycotted the vote, calling it a 'stunt' and 'vanity project', leaving novelty candidate Count Binface as his main opponent. Farage was also doused with a milkshake in Clacton in 2024 after announcing his candidacy.
