A woman has been injured after being hit by a car that crashed into a building in Birmingham city centre, police have said. The incident occurred on Temple Row at around 4.30pm on Tuesday (September 29).
Woman admitted to hospital
The woman was struck by the car, which then collided with a building. She has been admitted to hospital following the incident. The man driving the car remained at the scene and is helping police with their enquiries.
Images from the scene show the vehicle inside a building, with emergency services including police officers and paramedics in attendance.
Police appeal for information
A West Midlands Police spokesperson told The Express: "We were called after a woman was hit by a car which then hit a building on Temple Row, Birmingham, at around 4.30pm today (29 September). The woman suffered injuries which at this stage are not thought to be life-changing."
