Cheshire Police have launched an appeal for information after two staff members were assaulted inside a pub in Widnes on Friday, June 5 night. Officers were called to a pub on Lunts Heath Road at 11:37pm following reports of an assault.
Victims Did Not Suffer Lasting Injuries
Police confirmed that the victims did not suffer lasting injuries. Detectives investigating the incident have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the assault.
PC O'Brien said: “We have been conducting enquiries since the incident was reported and thankfully the victims have suffered no lasting injuries. We have now released a CCTV image of someone we would like to speak to. If anyone recognises the man pictured, please get in touch with us. The same goes for any witnesses or those with any further information. We would also appeal directly to the man pictured to contact us.”
